Love this lesson - Planning includes differentiation suitable for mixed abilities. PowerPoint includes visuals to support understanding. Informative and meaningful lesson.
Includes:
Lesson plan
PowerPoint - informative with whole class activity
Fill in the missing the word - electrical hazard activity
Spot the electrical hazard activity
I also set up an area with real hazards, surprised to see how students can spot hazards in a classroom, but not in a real life scenario.
Received - excellent for my lesson observation.

Dear all,
I have been asked to teach Digital Literacy. The class I am teaching have students with SEN.
To appeal to all students I have designed an activity based on the student’s personal interests (rather than deciding for them, as this can be negative).
The students are to design a story using PowerPoint beginning with a headline (creating a banner), and to progress to create a climax as well as an ending using a story mountain template.
I have encouraged the use of newspapers and magazines to explain and inform students of headlines. Throughout the planning ICT skills are incorporated such as adding sound to basic animations.
I will add my own creation which I am slowly creating lesson by lesson as I am rather busy planning and teaching.
Happy teaching.
